Gorakhpur Unit of FCIL is located in Uttar Pradesh. The factory is located on NH-28 & is 21 KMs from Gorakhpur Airport.
After a series of CCEA decisions in August 2011, May 2013 regarding revival of FCIL, the Cabinet decided on 31.3.2015 revival of Gorakhpur Unit through ‘bidding route’ for setting up a 1.3 million MT Urea on 500-600 acres of land.
PDIL has been engaged for identification of 500-600 acres of land for the project, as approved by CCEA.
An Empowered Committee has been constituted to oversee the revival process of Gorakhpur Unit of FCIL.
M/s. Deloitte are Project Advisors for assisting FCIL and DoF for revival.
